On the farm

Oni’s farm is situated on the Borgue peninsula overlooking the sea in Dumfries & Galloway. Our 15 acre smallholding is home to our flower and vegetable gardens, native woods and lots of grass – plenty of which we have left to rewild to allow nature & wildlife to thrive… with a little patch for our mini flock of pet sheep to roam! We have planted lots of native trees, have a little flock of ducks and should you wish to visit we also have the Bothy  holiday studio. We have lots of projects and ideas for the smallholding so watch this space!

About us

We moved to this beautiful part of the world in 2016. Having an allotment for 14 years, we wanted somewhere with the space to expand our crops and have room for our kids to run around and explore. The ancient oak trees, sea view and the perfect spot to home a large polytunnel confirmed this was the place we wanted to call home.

Having grown our own veg and flowers for years, the idea of expanding into the long term dream of growing cut flowers to sell became a real possibility, while being able to produce enough healthy home grown fruit & veg to feed ourselves and provide to the local community has become an exciting prospect. We love the outdoors and are lucky that our children do too as we spend long hours in the garden.
